Water Skiing
Pattaya
The most popular places to waterski are the
northern and southern parts of Pattaya Beach, Jomtien Beach and Ko Lan
island. 
However, freshwater water skiing is available at
Lakeland Cable Water Ski at kilometre 150.5 on Sukhumvit Highway, about 5
kms from Pattaya City. There is an enormous fresh water lake, 9 acres in
area, set up with cable skis. The ski equipment, however, is in fairly poor
shape. Cable Skiing is a relatively new sport and requires a bit of nerve.
It is definitely more difficult to get the hang of than traditional
water-skiing from behind a boat because of the sudden jerk with which you
start, however, participants can be coached to perform spectacular aquatic
maneuvers. Open daily from 10 am. - 9 p.m with admissions fees of Baht 300

Phuket
 The Phuket cable ski is open 9 am to 9 pm, follow the Kathu Waterfall
road. Tel. 076 202 525.
Another option is to ski from behind a boat which is actually easier.
