A bicycle is also an excellent way to explore the rural area close to
the hotel, which is very flat. Two guided three hour trips are available -
one to the north where you can visit Pa Meng, a local pier with a lively
fisherman's village and rubber plantation close by. Alternatively visit a
local village and then the national park with it's spectacular view point
and monkeys who are tried to collect coconuts from the trees (entry to the
park is Baht 200). A longer trip is along the coastline to Meng Island.
Bikes can also be ridden along the beach in front of the resort with
the nearby islands as a stunning backdrop.
